Don’t be a “singles” fan, seek out these artists if you like what you hear, explore, and support them as you see fit.
This month (or so) is a MYSTERY list. It's actually just a good modern compilation which I've put together and haven't found time to expand on. Just get it. You'll like it. YES, YOU.
UPDATE: THE TRACKLIST:
OK GO - WTF? - Exactly.
Paper Tongues - Ride To California - Apparently managed by Randy Jackson.
Kid Sister - Right Hand Hi - Her album Ultraviolet is super.
The Bloody Beetroots - Awesome (feat. The Cool Kids) - Dance!!
Puscifer - The Mission (M is For Milla mix feat Milla Jovovich) - You had me at Milla.
Stereophonics - Stuck In A Rut - Best song from their new album.
Barton Fink - Paranormal Mechanism - Unknown band, but I like their album I stumbled onto.
Blakroc - What You Do To Me (feat Billy Danze, Jim Jones and Nicole Wray) - Black Keys + Hip Hop
Juke Kartel - Throw It Away - Runner up from that INXS singer search. It was for the best.
Twista - Problems (feat Tech N9ne) - Non-album track which should have made an album.
Elliot Minor - I Believe - Love those strings!
Citizen Cope - Lifeline - I pray his new disc will be as good as this preview. Just awesome.
Basement Jaxx - She’s No Good - The Jaxx stunned me this year with a really diverse set.
Adam Lambert - For Your Entertainment - Catchy, filthy pop which almost sounds like a rape threat.
Florence and the Machine - Halo - Out-Beyonce-d? I think so. You decide.
Damnwells - Untitled - Perhaps a new album demo which they begin recording next month.
Onerepublic - Everybody Loves Me - New album is predictably poor, but this song kicks.
Mama’s Gun - Finger On It - Funkkkkkk.
Timbaland - Carry Out (feat. Justin Timberlake) - They're back. Tim's back.
Lenny Kravitz - I’ll Be Waiting - Best thing he's done in over a decade.
The Avett Brothers - And It Spread - Indie "bluegrass" group has my heart.
